Mechanical fuse screw terminals
Description
The MLA-E mechanical cable lugs are designed for the safe and reliable connection of copper and aluminium conductors in modern electricity generation, transformation and distribution systems.
The connection is made via mechanical clamping with stepless screws: the screws have no predetermined breaking point and ensure the optimal breaking torque is achieved, reducing installation errors and improving clamping quality.
The anti friction disc ensures reduced friction for greater contact force and prevents damage to the strands.
CEMBRE screws also maintain traceability after breakage (batch number marked on the screw base), simplifying maintenance and ensuring compliance with standards.

CEMBRE screws also maintain traceability after breakage (batch number marked on the screw base), simplifying maintenance and ensuring compliance with standards.
They offer:
- Easy installation: no crimping tools required — a hex socket spanner is sufficient.
- Reduced installation errors: optimal breakaway torque guaranteed by stepless technology.
- Versatility: one connector covers multiple conductor cross-sections.
- Reliability and safety: high-performance electrical contact even in harsh conditions.
- Guaranteed traceability: markings remain visible after screw breakage.
- Safer installation: removable centering devices and protective caps eliminate sharp edges.
