Description
N-series cable cast resin joints are the ideal choice for splicing and connecting low-voltage conductors using the cast resin technique. Straight and Y-junction cable cast resin joints are available. The two-component cast resin is capable of sealing and protecting power, signal and telephone cables, providing a level of protection against moisture and low temperatures, according to EN 50393 and DIN VDE 57291-2 (VDE0291), and a shelf life, even under critical conditions, of 48 months. The cable cast resin joints are equipped with protective PET shells, formed by two halves that can be joined by snap closure, requiring no additional fastening or waterproofing. The shells left on the cable cast resin joint after casting provide additional protection against mechanical stress, weathering and chemicals.
