Description

ML-C series mechanical fused screw terminals with symmetrical connection are the ideal choice for indoor, outdoor and underground connection of aluminum or copper low and medium voltage conductors up to 52 kV. The inner surface is protected from oxidation by a special high drop point grease, while the outer surface is made chemical resistant by electrolytic tinning with a minimum thickness of 12 μm. The fuse screws are made of the same material as the terminal body and are designed to be screwed in, using a standard wrench, until they break inside the threaded hole, resulting in no protruding threads and an improved connection. To avoid dielectric stress, medium-voltage connectors are equipped with centering devices designed to ensure proper alignment of the various conductor sections within the terminal collar.
