AR60 ELECTRICAL CONNECTION SYSTEM TO THE RAILS AND TRACK EQUIPMENT

Designed and developed by CEMBRE, the AR60 electrical rail contact is the ideal choice for various applications, including transmission of TE coded and return currents, electrical splicing, power and receiver connection, connection of metal structures to the rail, and electrical drainage from underground structures. Like every AR series electrical connection system, this contact is easy and quick to install in any weather condition and, thanks to the perfect tightening by extrusion of the bushing, is able to guarantee constant electrical resistance over time and considerable mechanical strength. The AR60 rail electric contact is suitable for installation in holes with a diameter of 19 mm on rails with shank thicknesses between 14 and 16.5 mm. It is complete with electrolytic copper fringed bushing, M12 screw with discharged head, flat washer and stainless steel self-locking nut. Tested and approved by the world's major railway authorities, the CEMBRE rail electrical contact allows electrical connection to be made at any time and can be easily removed to perform maintenance operations. No heat generation during installation prevents alterations and structural deformation of the rail. Versatile and easy to install, the flanged bushing can accommodate numerous types of electrical connectors approved for connection with rail-specified cables. In the extrusion process, the sleeve fits by adapting perfectly to the surface of the insertion hole regardless of its size and quality, without the need for any preparation before installation.
