Description
KY series reinforced terminals are made from electrolytic copper tape of more than 99.9% purity. They are the ideal choice for connection in contexts and environments characterized by continuous stress, vibration and oscillation, such as inside machinery. The remarkable strength of these lugs comes from the fact that a funnel-shaped copper end sleeve is sandwiched between the collar and the insulated cover, which, in addition to facilitating the insertion of the conductor, improves the overall mechanical seal and quality of the connection by deforming during crimping along the conductor insulation. Due to the process of annealing and electrolytic tinning, the connectors are easier to compress and more resistant to mechanical stress. The PA 6.6 insulation coating simplifies installation and restoration of the cable insulation. The funnel-shaped inner shaping of the insulated cover facilitates insertion of the conductor into the terminal and prevents streaking of the elementary wires, thus reducing wiring time.
