Description

The RHU1000 hydraulic head is the ideal choice for crimping full traction, transmission and substation connectors. It adopts the standard 1100 kN die set. The head comes complete with a male quick release coupling with automatic locking. It is also compatible with cembre, alcoa, huskie and burndy type dies. The die holder is removable for easy positioning of the connectors. The upper part of the holder rotates automatically during the die change operation to ensure correct positioning of the die at all times. The standard version is equipped with a single-acting feed, but it is possible to obtain a double-acting feed by replacing the bleed valve with a female self-locking quick coupling. For its operation, it must be combined with a single- or double-acting hydraulic pump with a maximum working pressure of 700 bar.
