Description
The MBS-E mechanical joint connectors are designed for the safe and reliable connection of copper and aluminum conductors in modern power generation, transmission, and distribution systems.
The connection is achieved through mechanical clamping with stepless screws. These screws have no predetermined breaking point and ensure that the optimal torque is reached, reducing installation errors and improving clamping quality. The anti-friction disc reduces friction, increases contact force, and prevents damage to the conductor strands.
CEMBRE screws also maintain traceability after breakage, with the batch number marked on the screw base, simplifying maintenance operations and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
The central stop ensures correct conductor positioning, prevents oil leakage in oil-impregnated conductors, and enables transitions from polymer to oil-impregnated conductors.
