Beschrijving
The cordless hydraulic tool BA500 is suitable for installing electrical crimp connectors on conductors up to 300 mm2. This crimping tool uses the standard die series compatible with other tools and 50 kN heads.
Thanks to the adaptive control function, the BA500 crimping tool automatically adjusts the force according to the connector cross-section, stopping the crimping as soon as the dies reach the stop point. In this way, the BA500 uses only the force actually required for crimping, avoiding reaching the maximum pressure of 700 bar each time. The adaptive control function can be activated at the operator's discretion.
The BA500 detects the presence of the connector inserted in the head and, as soon as it encounters the slightest resistance, automatically stops the die stroke, holding the connector without compressing it, allowing the operator to check the correct positioning of the connector between the dies and to accurately align the conductor in the terminal.
The head can be opened and rotated 180° to adapt to various modes of use. Quiet and easy to handle, the BA500 crimping tool has a compact pistol design and is equipped with an ergonomic handle to ensure high levels of comfort even during prolonged use. For added safety, the BA500 is equipped with a double-click activation system, which prevents accidental start-up and increases control during use. The tool switches off automatically after three minutes of inactivity to maximize safety and reduce energy consumption.
The tool features an optimized OLED display for real-time monitoring of various parameters, including:
• the force developed and therefore the correct execution of the crimping
• the battery charge status
• the number of work cycles completed and those remaining before maintenance
• other general operating information
To improve the user experience, the tool is equipped with an automatic rechargeable battery locking system with a control button.
SMARTOOL technology allows you to view and download recorded data, ensuring complete digital support.
